PSG fans clash with Paris police after Champions League agony

French police say they made 148 arrest following riots by PSG fans as they clash with Paris police after Champions League defeat.

The clash occurred around the Parc Des Princes stadium, where fans gathered to watch the game on a big screen.

Extra security measures had been put in place with 3,000 police deployed on the Champs-Elysees.

Around 2,000 masks were made available to fans arriving on the Champs-Elysees without them.

Bars and cafes were monitored to ensure people respected virus prevention measures.

Fans risked a fine for not wearing a mask.

Police in full riot gear burst into a bar to aggressively remove people because some were not wearing masks or were failing to keep social distancing.

Cars were set on fire and shop windows were smashed, said police.
