Cristiano Ronaldo has added another incredible milestone to his legendary career, becoming the first player in football history to score in six different FIFA World Cup tournaments.
The Portuguese captain etched his name even deeper into the record books by finding the net against Uzbekistan, extending a remarkable scoring streak that began at the 2006 World Cup. At 41 years old, Ronaldo continues to prove that age is just a number, delivering when Portugal needed him most.
The historic goal also ended Ronaldo’s major tournament scoring drought and saw him equal — and later surpass — Portugal legend Eusébio as his nation’s leading World Cup goalscorer. While Lionel Messi has also appeared in six World Cups, Ronaldo now stands alone as the only player to score in all six editions.
With Portugal chasing another deep run, Ronaldo has once again shown why he remains one of football’s greatest icons, turning another World Cup night into a chapter of sporting history.
