Atalanta must have been thanking the football gods but it wasn’t meant to be. Two late goals from PSG’s Marquinhos (90’) and Choupo-Moting (90+3’) secured a 2-1 win.
Earlier in the days, Atalanta took a well deserved lead when Pasalic (26‘) cured a fantastic effort past Navas into the top corner from 16 yards out.
The win means PSG will face either RB Leipzig or Atletico Madrid in semi-finals after the latter face off tomorrow.
