Foles threw 3 touchdown passes in the second half to rally the Bears to a 30-26 win after down by 16 points in the second half. The journeyman replaced Trubisky in the 3rd quarter against the Falcons following an interception.
“Sometimes there’s a gut feeling on when to do it, and that seemed like the right time,” Bears coach Matt Nagy told reporters afterward.
Despite Foles’ heroics and Trubisky’s struggles, Nagy wouldn’t say who his starting QB is moving forward.
“We just want to enjoy the win tonight,” he said.
