Lakers clinch number 1 seed for 2020 NBA Playoffs

With only 5 games remaining, the Los Angeles Lakers has successfully clinched the #1 seed in the western conference Monday night with their win against the Jazz. Clippers who are now 6 games behind the Lakers finds it insurmountable to go pass the Lakers for the number 1 seed.

Anthony Davis led the lakers with a game high of 42 points and 12 rebounds in 39 minutes. As the Lakers seek to win the elusive 17th championship, they now await the team who will earn the 8th seed for their 1st round in the 2020 NBA Playoffs.

At the end of last season there were doubts that LeBron James would ever contend for another championship after joining the Lakers. After years of dominating the Eastern Conference, he now is dominating western conference and can be considered favorites to win.
