According to sources Cavaliers, Andre Drummond will exercise the $28.7m option in his contract and remain with the Cavs for the 2020-21 season.
Drummond was acquired by the Cavs from Detroit Pistons at a discounted price in February.
The Cavs gave up only John Henson, Brandon Knight, and a 2023 second-round pick.
After the trade Drummond appeared in eight games for the Cavs, averaging 17.5 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.4 blocks.
