Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is confident we can take our form from the end of 2019/20 into next season.
The striker Harry Kane lead a strong finish last term as we picked up five wins and three draws from our final nine matches on the Premier League’s return after lockdown.
England skipper Harry, 27, scored seven goals in those matches as the team finished sixth to maintain our record of playing European football since 2010/11, and in 13 of the last 14 seasons going back to 2006/07.
“I think it was important we finished this season strong and we can take that momentum forward,” said Harry. “It’s only going to be a short break and we’ll be straight back into it, so hopefully we can continue our form into next season.
“We know as a team we’ve a lot more in the tank and we can do better. That’s the feeling we’ll be going away with, a little bit of happiness in that we’ve achieved European football, but we know we’ve a lot to improve on.”
