NFL players have the option to opt out of the upcoming season, and will likely keep a close eye on the Major Baseball League and how the NFL reacts to new problems as they arise.
NFL Players who decide they want to opt out have until August 3 to do so, and they will receive a stipend from the owners. They will receive $350,000 for medical opt outs and $150,000 for voluntary opt outs.
